Owner's Engineer and Technical Authority for Power Quality
Providing independent PQ oversight across design, modelling, and commissioning. Mitigating risk for stakeholders and project managers.
Capability
GreenVolt provides independent, specialist oversight for projects where Power Quality issues affect commissioning, compliance, and commercial outcomes. We support clients through design review, modelling assurance, commissioning oversight, and forensic investigation when systems do not perform as expected.
Our role is to identify root causes, provide cost‑effective corrective actions, and guide project teams through resolution. We act as the technical gatekeeper for PQ, protecting system performance and ensuring compliance with IEC, AS/NZS, DNSP and utility requirements.
Scope of Services
Independent Review and Audit
We verify if the site is PQ compliance against applicable standards (IEC, IEEE, DNSP, regional grid). Additionally we identify if the proposed integrated elements or installed equipment is compatible and/or fit for purpose
We have extensive experience working with renewable plants, industrial sites, low-inertia and rural grids and microgrids across Australia and Island networks (Pacific, Micronesia and Melanesia).
We independently review existing site or system design and conduct a preliminary PQ investigation, ensuring any statements made are supported with PQ data analysis.
Compliance and Commissioning Verification
Technical Interface and Deliverable Assurance
Forensic Investigation and Close-Out
We act as a technical liason between subcontractors and project stakeholders, to ensure technical deliverables are met on time.
